As outlined in other posts, I wanted to get a sort of spooky, surreal, all-american diner at night. I was able to pull the American Diner asset from the unreal marketplace and decorate it with other assets from around the internet,
At one point, I would get this weird lighting error, where all of my characters would change to a texture that seemed like it wasn't lit at all. I would fix the error by restarting the engine, but at some point I got tired of doing that. So, I decided to build lighting. Unfortunately, not all of my lights were moveable, and this caused a series of light baking errors that completely crushed my lighting. I basically had to re-do it from scratch. Hoping never to make this mistake again.
I enjoyed working with the sequencer this project! The main thing I learned about it was that I should be conscious of how I add things to a project. It is much easier to attach a prop from sequencer and manipulate its location than to manipulate the location after its attached to an actor.
